Some posts are fun to write. A post about dad eating pizza while watching TV would be a great post to create. Alas, this is about how a dad should treat himself when he gets kicked in the groin. Continue reading Daddy 911: My child kicked me in the groin

Giveaway: A Graco Pack ‘n Play
When Toddler Mojo was a newborn he spent some time in a pack ‘n play. We didn’t use it too much because in order to fold it the planets had to be aligned correctly and you had to hold your mouth, just, like that. The old pack ‘n play was a pain in the tuckus to fold. When More Mojo came along we were offered the chance from Graco to review the Pack ‘n Play Playard with Reversible Napper & Changer. Yeah, the official name of it is a mouthful, but it will serve More Mojo until he’s 3 years old and most importantly, it’s incredibly easy to fold. Continue reading Giveaway: A Graco Pack ‘n Play
What do you tell your child to call their private parts?
We’re in the process of motivating Toddler Mojo to use the potty. He’s just over two and a half, the potty has been purchased and now we’re waiting for it all to ‘click’. Apparently it just ‘clicks’, that’s what every parent we’ve asked has said happens. Continue reading What do you tell your child to call their private parts?
The Atlanta Baby and Child Expo is May 12 at The Fabulous Fox
Being a parent is interesting because; if you’re honest, there is so much that you know you don’t know. Coincidentally, l attended The Atlanta Baby and Child Expo while she was pregnant. Continue reading The Atlanta Baby and Child Expo is May 12 at The Fabulous Fox
My wife is a better mom, but I’m a better dad
When I started being a stay at home dad the little things irritated me. The ‘moms’ club that wouldn’t allow dads for the play dates was annoying and made getting play dates more work. When store clerks innocently said “so you’re staying home with the kids today?” I’ve simply learned to smile politely and tell them that I do this every day. Continue reading My wife is a better mom, but I’m a better dad
LeapFrog’s My Own Leaptop is the iPad killer….for toddlers
Toddler Mojo loves the iPad. When he was younger, i.e., more controllable, he’d sit in my lap and go through some of the learning apps for children. Now that he’s 27 month old, he’s well into being a toddler and wants to control anything and everything. With the iPad, that doesn’t work out so well; it’s expensive and it might frustrate the toddler mind which would then cause Hulk like rage and the throwing of expensive electronics. Continue reading LeapFrog’s My Own Leaptop is the iPad killer….for toddlers
The similarities between a toddler and a computer
I love my children. I also love to work on my computer. As a stay at home dad who needs to work or play on the computer I experience both of these loves daily. I’ve learned that there are a couple similarities between my computer and my children including vaporware, expansion slot and more. Continue reading The similarities between a toddler and a computer
The Life and Times of a 10-week old
10 weeks isn’t a long period of time. Having said that, it’s been a lifetime for that little person in the nursery and the changes have been monumental, especially this past week. Continue reading The Life and Times of a 10-week old
