The Kitchen Witch is great, comic book fun for kids

I love to read. I’ve always loved to read and it was comic books that introduced me into the fact that reading is fun. That totally sounds like a PSA, but it’s true. I still read comic books, but, as a child I started reading easy reader comics like Spidey, and, to a lesser extent, Richie Rich. Thus, as a dad, I’m on the hunt for easy reader books that children will love. If your child is into fantasy adventure they will love The Kitchen Witch and here is why. Dad Spends a Night in the Mancave: Sherlock is top notch

I love my Roku.  We disconnected cable many months ago, purchased one and live off NetFlix, the occasional Hulu and sometimes live TV.  The benefit of this is that we’ve discovered dozens of new shows.  I finally get Doctor Who now, which in turn led me to Torchwood (even better) and the new Star Trek movie led me to Sherlock. Fraggle Rock celebrates 30 years of rocking the felt cloth on DVD

Everyone in this house is a huge Jim Henson fan.  I say Jim Henson fan instead of Muppet fan because his fingerprints are on all of his creations.  You can tell it in Sesame Street, The Muppets, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.  It’s Jim Henson’s creativity that is geared to certain audiences.
