Why are stay at home parents so exhausted at the end of the day? I read a sarcastic article that said that parents are tired because of all the questions they answer during a given day. I put forth the question of how many questions does a toddler ask by marking down each time our 3.5 year old asked me a question. Just for the sake of making it fun I also wrote down the questions, hilarity ensues. Continue reading How many questions does a toddler ask in one day?

4 disgusting things I do because I’m a Dad
Stay at home dads are just like stay at home moms for the most part. Granted our child running into my groin* would hurt much worse than him doing the same thing to his mom, but parenting wise, we’re all on the same field. A nice post last week highlighted 5 disgusting things that moms do. Any parent can identify with them, but I wanted to add perspective from this side of the chromosome. Test driving the new BMW Maclaren Buggy
An umbrella stroller is so called that because it can fold up neatly and be put away in your car without much fuss. Perhaps yours is difficult to fold, frustrating to push or seemingly has a mind on its own with a desire to pinch your fingers. With that as my baseline experience with those types of strollers I am reviewing the new BMW Maclaren Buggy. Continue reading Test driving the new BMW Maclaren Buggy

What to expect from your 18 month old toddler

By now your little toddler is probably walking to some extent. What else can you expect from your 18 month old toddler? Continue reading What to expect from your 18 month old toddler
The Sears ‘All things Baby’ sale is a great primer for parents to be
When I have a spare moment (rarely) I think back to when I had free time (before children). The needless books we purchased provided us with thousands of tips we’ve since forgotten, paranoid thoughts we didn’t listen to (thankfully) and a litany of things we’d need for the baby. Currently Sears is having the ‘All Things Baby’ sale. It’s a simple title with samples of everything you’ll need at some point during your time as a parent to small people. How my wife and I discovered our 3YO son gaming the system
As a child I remember gaming the system. The system varied from sneaking into a swimming pool to getting out of chores, but I was a sneaky young man. 3YO Mojo gamed our system for a couple of days, until we got wise to it. Continue reading How my wife and I discovered our 3YO son gaming the system
