Last year I put three name brand weed killers against each other. I was tired of forgetting which weed killer did a good job and ending up with half bottles of multiple different kinds. For the record, Spectracide did the best job on the weeds for us. However, someone commented that as a dad I should use more natural methods to control weeds. Changing a door knob to a bathroom should be a key element when you’re thinking about baby-proofing the house. Milton area Boy Scouts conduct paint recycling on Feb 11
If you have a house you have cans of paint. If you have a garage you have more cans of paint. The Brother P-Touch Label Maker durability garage test
In August I announced that Daddy Mojo was participating in the Brother P-Touch Ambassador Program. It was my submission that my garage was where good tools go to die or at least get lost amongst all the clutter. As Toddler Mojo got bigger and bigger, our traditional TV, the 200 pound albatross in our living room started to get in the way. He’d unplug the TV, turn it on or off and then change the channel from 3 to 4 which meant that I had to go into the settings to get it to work again. DIY a stay-at-home dad can do: fix outdoor lighting
When my wife and I moved into our house it came with an extensive outdoor lighting set up. In the front yard alone there are 20 lights. In the back yard there are about 20 more, all of the lights are metal and the entire system runs on three transformers. We live on a normal sized lot, mind you, it’s just a very well lit lot.
