One of the groovy things about having worked in radio for a long time is that I’m well versed in many genres of music.  I also attended lots of concerts.  One of the classic artists we saw was The Who.  It was a hot summer night in North Carolina, there was no shade in the stadium, but the concert was loud, fun and unforgettable. 3 YO Mojo is giddy. For the past two years we’ve been to the welcoming ceremony for the circus.  That’s the elephant parade for lack of a better term when some elephants and clowns come outside the arena the morning before the first show.  Those times he was too young to enjoy it, but now that he knows (and loves) all of his animals, he is primed to go this year. Anyone who has ever seen Return of The Jedi is immediately drawn to mountain biking.   Those scenes where the speeder bikes are zipping around the trees on single track are the POV that every cyclist sees.  In their heart of hearts, every cyclist thinks about that movie scene once or twice when they’re on the trial. Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM is graceful, dangerous fun

The genius of Peter Sellers playing Inspector Clouseau was that the actor was indeed quite intelligent; but the character was an inept, bumbling police officer.  My wife summed up what was so amazing about TOTEM, the current Cirque show, in a way that complimented the clowns and made me think of Sellers.
