Win a pair of tickets to The Who 2/22 at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall
One of the groovy things about having worked in radio for a long time is that I’m well versed in many genres of music. I also attended lots of concerts. One of the classic artists we saw was The Who. It was a hot summer night in North Carolina, there was no shade in the stadium, but the concert was loud, fun and unforgettable. The Who is on tour now and we’re giving away a pair of tickets to see them at their performance at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall on February 22. Red She-Hulk 62 is good, consistent, story oriented Hulk
I’ve been reading Hulk for a couple of years now. At first he was the regular green Hulk, then Thunderbolt Ross (Red Hulk) and now Red She-Hulk. The good part, from a story telling perspective is that all of them have taken place in the same book. There was no forced reboot or taking the issues back to #1, they just changed the name of the book to Red She-Hulk. Continue reading Red She-Hulk 62 is good, consistent, story oriented Hulk
Win a BellaVita Wallet or Wristlet for your iPhone
I like being a dad. However, being a dad with an iPhone-and a wallet means that I am removing something from my pants at any point in time. If you plan your credit cards and ID carefully, the BellaVita Wallet can make your phone and wallet pockets happier. Continue reading Win a BellaVita Wallet or Wristlet for your iPhone

Both of those worlds are colliding to some extent in two new ventures that are happening that you need to know about. The parenting angle is covered by The Go-To Parents Community on Google + and my experience with animals is being used as a writer on The Pet Match Maker. How to remove crayons from wooden surfaces
The other day More Mojo was crawling his 16 month old self up the stairs. I was dutifully behind him making sure that he didn’t reverse course. When we got to the top I grabbed him and headed down when I saw 3 YO Mojo had taken out his crayons and was coloring the hardwood floors. Nooooo, I yelled in my best slow motion voice, while running down the stairs carrying a crawler. Continue reading How to remove crayons from wooden surfaces
6 tips on taking small children to a movie theater
We saw Skyfall when it was it theaters, great movie if you haven’t seen it. The theater was packed and seating was limited. In front of our seats was a young couple with a 3 month old in their baby carrier. The specter of a crying newborn was almost as scary as Javier Bardem’s performance was creepy. Super Bowl snacks-cooking with Newcastle Brown Ale
I’ve heard that cooking with beer can be a tasty sauté, but I never have done it until this week. My thought was that if I cook with beer and don’t like it, then it’s a waste of beer. Factor in that it would be a potential waste of a good beer and that’s a bad thing indeed. Continue reading Super Bowl snacks-cooking with Newcastle Brown Ale
