As a stay-at-home dad who does the shopping, cooking and cleaning; I want to do whatever I can to make my time and family budget work as efficiently as possible. A couple months ago I started using a new product from Scrubbing Bubbles that is supposed to all but eliminate the need for a toilet brush. The manufacturer didn’t ask me to write this up. Occasionally, I’ll write reviews on products that may or may not be helpful to busy households. Continue reading Dad tries One Step Toilet Bowl Cleaner by Scrubbing Bubbles

The Way is an earnest father/son movie that entertains in many ways
The Way is the story about Tom (Martin Sheen), an American father who’s living a simple, successful life in California as an optometrist. Tom’s son, Daniel (Emilio Estevez) is killed in an accident while walking “El Camino de Santiago”, a 500 mile trail that crosses from France into Spain. Daddy Mojo reviews: Febreeze Set & Refresh
In a kitchen drawer we have several air fresheners that you plug into an electrical outlet. We also have a couple of the free standing ones that look like a white 4” traffic cone. Granted, rare is the time when a stay at home dad blogger, with a part time business, has time to kill. In those rare instances, it’s good to have something that can take your mind away and occupy less time than watching TMZ. Continue reading Goop iPhone App Review and Giveaway
Daddy Mojo reads: Finding Uri by Sandy Munro

A year after his mother’s death, Sandy receives a box that contained hundreds of letters that his mother and father had written to each other. To make the letters even more emotional, some of them were written after Uri’s death, but before Betsy knew. Continue reading Daddy Mojo reads: Finding Uri by Sandy Munro
Daddy Mojo reads: Fox and Hen Together by Beatrice Rodriguez
Earlier this year we reviewed a very charming book called The Chicken Thief. It’s a wordless book that tells the story of a fox, a hen and their forbidden love affair. Of course any book that has a happy ending, what with the fox and the hen living together, has a high likelihood of producing a sequel.
