A toilet that uses less water: the Delta Corrente Toilet review
At my first house I put a sealed jar of water in the toilet basin in an effort to save money. Archimedes would’ve been proud of me, but even after doing that, the toilet still used over 2.5 gallons of water each time it flushed. Our new house has better toilets that use less water, but they have just been lapped by the Delta Corrente Toilet. Continue reading A toilet that uses less water: the Delta Corrente Toilet review
Cap That can do prints on any surface from anywhere, even video
We love photos in our house. Before having children we had photos of pets and travels on the walls. With children come lots of photos and the myriad of ways to put their pictures up on the walls. We were presented a review opportunity with Cap That, that we hadn’t seen before-putting photos on bamboo picture frames. To make things even cooler they can be traditional photos or be pulled from video clips. Continue reading Cap That can do prints on any surface from anywhere, even video
Big Daddy’s Rules-a tough dads tale on raising daughters is charming and funny
In Big Daddy’s Rules, Raising Daughter is Tougher Than I Look we meet a dad of two young girls. What initially makes the story engaging is that the dad is Steve Schirripa, actor and star of numerous TV hits including The Sopranos and The Secret Life of An American Teenager. Steve is also a very large, intimidating man from New Jersey. He fits the mold of an angry Italian onscreen and the written stories of him being a dad are educational, funny and something I could relate to. One of them can’t walk too long without bumping into something and the other one sometimes just likes to be pushed around like Ben-Hur. The BMW Maclaren Buggy is perfect for both of them and for the parent who happens to be pushing them, let’s take a look. Continue reading The BMW Maclaren Buggy review

So now that you and your kiddo have seen Iron Man 3 they may be talking about which toys they want. The folks over at Hasbro sent us a couple of the new Iron Man 3 toys to play with and wreck havoc on lesser toys in casa de Mojo. All three toys have their moments, but two of them stand out as much more playable. Continue reading A look at some of the Iron Man 3 toys
Star Trek: Into Darkness-strong villain+classic cast=great
How to review a Star Trek movie, there are many ways, do I explore the mythos of the franchise and how the reboot treats the characters in their second outing? I could just look at Into Darkness as if it existed in a vacuum and ignore the history. It’s kind of like Christmas songs. Just because someone records a Christmas song doesn’t mean it’ll be great, even if I love Christmas. Continue reading Star Trek: Into Darkness-strong villain+classic cast=great
