As part of the Blog Pop Team we’re giving away some really cool stuff this Christmas holiday season. I reviewed the Descender from Rockboard and am really excited be able to give one of these away. The Descender is an all terrain skateboard, intended for ages 8 and up that is really fun to operate. Fun is really an understatement as I was grinning for a couple of hours after I used it.

Sometimes movie reviews get in the way of a movie being good. That was almost the case for Pacific Rim, which came out this summer. We loved the movie when it came out and it’s so much better than you might have heard. It’s a big, loud, fun, ride with monsters, robots and the detail that you’ve come to enjoy (and expect) from a Gulliermo del Toro movie.
