Dr. Seuss provides fond memories for everyone. While the characters that provided that memory may change or be different for certain people, the memory is always pleasant. Dr. Seuss Fun Machine combines physical play of old school games with the interactive experience of tablet games. The app is free to download and doesn’t necessarily need the game tiles to be played, but is much more enjoyable if you have a combination of the two. How to plan a Batman Party for children
Batman has always been a staple in pop culture. The person behind the mask has evolved and changed, but kids have grown up with some version of the caped crusader since the 60’s. When I got the opportunity to host a Batman party from BSM Media it agreed with my fan boy sensibilities and my desire to further my child’s interest in one of the great super heroes. I’ve always wanted a pipe wrench. The name sounds tough, combining two rugged words that make one super jagged word that actually serves a purpose and is made of steel? That is bordering on testosterone overload. I have a pair of Channel Lock pliers. They do roughly the same thing as a pipe wrench. But if a pipe wrench is Chuck Norris, a pair of Channel Lock pliers is John Stamos. Continue reading Don’t judge a beef jerky eating, Harley rider by his cover
#1 and #3 of 18 Summers: Curiosity and finding our legs
In May I went to Disney Social Media Moms. It’s a social media conference at Walt Disney World that helps bloggers think, be creative, have fun and meet other family bloggers. Authors, social media folks and a couple of Walt Disney employees all spoke to us on a variety of things. One of the speakers, Amy Foster from Disney Park Insight mentioned “18 summers”. At Disneyland in California, families are treated to a whole different kind of fun. In fact, the memories and good times to be had have become so popular, that the Halloween season has become one of the busier tourist seasons at the resort.
