This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Maytag for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Children are dirty, filthy little people that haven’t learned to avoid messes. Is it that they intentionally seek out messy situations or are they simply playing with reckless abandon and we adults are the ones who need to get dirtier?  A valid argument could be made for either case. Either way if you have children they’ll have laundry that gets stained with all manner of grass, dirt, gunk or other stuff. If you have boys their clothing will get stained beyond recognition in their attempt to change the original color from whatever to ‘dirt’. Parents can get the last laugh by participating in the #MyFilthiestPlay contest  from Maytag laundry and sharing some truly filth, in a good way, moments.

Our children aren’t old enough to start organized sports yet, but we’re getting ready for the pending stainpocolypse. The stains right now come from food that should otherwise go into their mouth, but somehow ends up on their chin, shirt or pants. There are also the times that you’re carrying your child and they turn your shirt into a bloody, dirty mess complete with a pen that he snuck into his arms before I picked him up. Yeah, that was a fun morning. Thankfully that toxic mess on my shirt was able to be removed thanks to a good washing.

In the spring they’ll enter the world of organized sports where all manner of gunk will accompany them home. This summer the kids played in the back yard, got multi colored ice cream on their clothes, discovered new foods and realized that daddy sorts out the whites from the colors when he does the laundry. To their credit they helped do that, in addition to being the root cause for most of the laundry.

Maytag’s new Top Load Washer and Dryer units can sort out your laundry in a big league way. That is because they’re the official washer and dryer of Major League Baseball. Their partnership pays off for you because they’re giving away a Maytag Top Load Washer and Dryer each week, plus one extra lucky winner will get a trip to the World Series.

Entering is simple and is most likely something that you’re already doing. Just take a photo or video of your child’s Filthiest Plays of the Week. It could be their pants after they’ve slid home, a dusty shirt from running to first or anything that shows your young player getting dirty. Now just share that photo or video on Instagram or Twitter using #MyFilthiestPlay.

This is for players and fans of any age. It’s you, or your children, sliding, running, falling or any of the other exciting parts of baseball. See, you’re already taking (or took) the photo when they got super dirty. Now share it using #MyFilthiestPlay and you could win a new Maytag Washer and Dryer to help make things easier the next time (and there will be a next time) they get dirty.
