Spies In Disguise hits digital and Blu-ray on March 10

On March 10 it’s going to get pigeon-jiggy. That’s the day that Spies In Disguise hits digital and Blu-ray. Spies In Disguise is Certified-Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and is just the sort of PG rated, family friendly film that you need to pass those late winter days. At least, that’s what we’ll be doing in our house. For us this was a film that both kids wanted to see, but the hubbub of the holidays got in the way of us going to the movie theater.

In December it was THE film that kids on the elementary school playground wanted to see. You’ve got cool spy Lance Sterling (voiced by Will Smith) teaming up with scientist Walter Beckett (voiced by Tom Holland) in the most unusual way. Via top secret technology Smith is transformed into the body of a pigeon. Now it’s a rat with wings, who is trying to save the world. It almost makes you wish that you’d fed that one out in the park some bread on your way back home, doesn’t it?

The Blu-ray for Spies In Disguise comes with two music videos. No Will Smith movie is complete without at least two music videos. It also comes with a Super Secret Spy Mode, which is an immersive in-movie experience that takes gives you more insight into how they made the film, some Easter Eggs, facts, character designs and more. Fans of animation and Blue Sky Studios will also want to watch the extra that takes you on a tour of their studios and just a bit of the creative process.

Those studying French or Spanish can also have the subtitles or audio in those languages on, so that you can study up for your own overseas mission. OK, probably not, but at least increase your mental processing by speaking a second language.

Did you see Spies In Disguise? Is your family pumped about seeing the film at home? Let us know in the comments whether you’re Team Sterling, Team Beckett or Team Pigeon.

There are affiliate links in the post, because, pigeons. We were also provided with a digital copy of the film.
