Force Friday II starts September 1 and it’s bigger than an Endor moon

Force Friday II kicks off at ALL Disney Store locations across North America on Sept. 1 and with it the launch of new products inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi! That’s all the new ships, droids, characters and scenes that you’ll discover in Star Wars: The Last Jedi in movie theaters later this year. Unite with fans around the world in the battle against the dark side Sept. 1-3 in an augmented reality treasure hunt at Atlanta-area Disney stores.

Experience “Find the Force” with your Star Wars App where you can unlock characters and take photos and videos to share with friends! Come back each day so that you can reveal a new character and enter for the chance to win a trip to the premiere of The Last Jedi in December. In order to get the most out of Force Friday II you’ll need to have the latest version of the Star Wars app on your phone. Once you’re secure in the fact that it’s on your phone you can check visit any one of the 20,000 participating retail locations where you can discover one of the 15 different characters. If you plan in advance you’ll even be able to discover all 15 of the Star Wars character that will be appearing via the app from September 1-3. This is an AR treasure hunt where you can get videos and photos with any number of classic characters or new additions to a great franchise.

That way you’re entered for the chance to win a trip to the premier of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December. Stores will be opening early for this event-and by early I mean midnight on September 1, again, check the official rules for details. Your local Disney Store will also be having giveaways, contests and activities for some of the earlier folks in line.
