Coming clean to knowledge and laundry with LG at Best Buy

Front load vs top load, is that the question? For us, it’s easier to use a front load laundry machine. The kids or I don’t have to get on our tippy-toes to retrieve the clothing. That little stool that the kids used to use when they brushed their teeth can finally be donated.

Previously when I saw an LG Sidekick I simply thought it was a unique storage unit. You might have even seen this incognito washer and not even known it. The Sidekick is the washer that goes under a full size LG washer. It’s purchased separately and can wash its own load of laundry whenever you want to. Wash a smaller, different load at the same time its larger sibling does or simply do a small load of things before you need them. This is a washer that does its thing and conveniently pulls out of the shelf in order to be loaded.

Back to our original question, front load vs. top load. Front load washers used less water and electricity. Because the drum of a front load washer spins faster it squeezes more water out of the clothing during that cycle. That means less time for the clothes to fully dry once they go into the dryer. The LG Front Load Washer also has better cleaning performance and is gentler on clothes so they last longer.
