Our oldest son just turned 7and is knee deep in a world of darts. He’s got a couple of dart guns and jumped like a cat when a pickle is placed behind him when he found out we were reviewing the Dart Zone Enforcer Motorized Belt Blaster. Aside from being a mouthful of a title, this dart gun looks impressive and manages to do so in a compact form that’s very durable.
The Enforcer does require 6 AA batteries. A dart gun that requires batteries, that’s a good sign of power and potential fun. This is fully automatic and features a motorized belt that feeds 40 darts through the gun. Your elementary school student will be a pink sized Schwarzenegger, just tell them to say “where’s the chopper” and you’ve got 1/3 of a homemade action film good to go.
Assembling the Belt Blaster much like the toy itself, looks intimidating, but is actually quite simple. Within five minutes we had all of the parts into their correct position on the dart gun with the motorized belt ready to be loaded. To load the belt, simply push the middle support on the bottom up and slide the rectangular protector on the top of gun up also.
This combination will allow enough slack in the belt to load all 40 darts. Once they’re in the belt close the protector, pull the middle support down and find a target.
Amazingly, after firing the Dart Zone Enforcer for almost an hour there were no jams. A jammed dart is a frustrating thing indeed. Once the kids, aged 6-9 started playing with it they did experience a jam or two, but they were able to fix it themselves. A couple of times with other dart guns the jam sent the dart into the chamber, which meant that an adult had to use a coat hanger or something else to dislodge it.
The Enforcer pushes the darts through with ease and very quickly. 40 darts sounds like a lot and it is, but when you squeeze the trigger they fly out within 30 seconds. Players can hold the trigger down to have them go that fast or squeeze it with precision to have more darts than the rest of the people you’re up against.
It is also worth noting that other darts worked just as well with the Enforcer. The price is the other big takeaway; the Dart Zone Enforcer is $29.99, which is less than half the cost of other guns. That discount would be null and void if the product didn’t actually work and wasn’t fun. Rest assured, the Dart Zone Enforcer Motorized Belt Blaster will engage and entertain your dart driven kids and be easy on the wallet.
