Recently we wrote about the new extensive beer selection on sale at ALDI. Recap: they’re awesome. Now we’re giving away a $25 gift card to ALDI. You can use it however you would like-and if you haven’t shopped there it will go a long way. We go there every week and spend around $30. That amount takes us most of the way through the week for a family of four for the basic food needs. OK, add some of their new beers and the tally goes up, but you get the picture.

If you’ve never been the ALDI you might be put off initially because of the fact that you have to put a quarter in the shopping buggy. That is one of the small things that they do that helps keep the food costs low. With not rogue shopping buggies in the lot their insurance premiums are lower so it’s less money they have to charge consumers.
The brands look new and different. The food tastes the same and in almost all of the cases for us the food actually tastes better. Look past the packaging, look at the food and you’ll save big.

I like to buy their bacon frozen food, fruit and vegetables and the special buys they offer. I also love shopping there around Christmas when they get in new and different items.
I love Aldi and buy most of my groceries there. We especially like their organic selection and European goodies.
