We received product for this post. Having said that, if you have a daughter-you already know and love this brand-plus-#Giveaway!!!! Being the dad of two boys we hadn’t been to many birthday parties at Build-A-Bear. Of course we had heard about them, the birth certificates, accessories and squeals of laughter that accompany such landmark days. We went to our local Build-A-Bear recently to help celebrate the launch of the Lalaloopsy Dolls. It went so well that they offered up a Lalaloopsy Baking Oven and a Lalabration Peanut Big Top Doll as part of #BlogPopEvents
“It’s very pink in here dad”, Jake, our five year old said as we entered the store. He immediately found the Star Wars and Avengers dolls while his younger brother stayed by my side and soaked in the attention of the many seven and eight year old girls there.
“and then they have the final stitch that brings them to life” a very enthusiastic girl told Charlie. He didn’t understand what was happening but eagerly nodded up and down and said ‘yes!’. She then went on to tell us that Peanut was a bit of a clown while Crumbs Sugar Cookie was all about the cookies. Enthusiasm was everywhere in the room with the gaggle of young girls looking at the options for Crumbs and Peanut. There was so much mojo in the room that we even paid to have the voicebox put in our Peanut so that she can proclaim her overall joy whenever someone squeezes her foot.
We saw lots of Peanut and Crumb dolls being created. Soon Build-A-Bear will also have Jewel Sparkles, and Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff too.
