The review has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. Save as in save memories and save money, both are things that parents want to do. We’re talking about the Cannon EOS Rebel T5i, I know, it just sounds like it should be starring with Arnold Schwarzennegar in the latest robot movie. In real life it’s one of the simplest ways for you to shoot HD video and 18.0 megapixel photos like a pro.
Oh, and before we get any further join Gay NYC Dad for the #CannnonatBestBuy twitter party. It’s Thursday, December 18 at 8PM ET and quite simple to RSVP. They’ll be giving away 4-$100 Best Buy gift cards and when you factor that into the already existing savings on the Cannon EOS Rebel of $150 it’s a great time to buy.
I’ve shot with a Cannon Rebel EOS and it is very user friendly. The camera is soup to nuts everything that you need in a digital camera. You can capture movie quality HD video-and this is the key part, those videos remain in autofocus while you’re taking the HD video. Sure your camera shoots HD video, but you have to manually focus the lens, which is…tricky to say the least, especially when kids are your focus.
Technically the camera has an 18 megapixel CMOS sensor with a DIGIC 5 image processor. Yeah, that confuses me too, but what I do understand is that the 3” variable angle touch screen makes navigating the images as simple as cake. Eating cake that is, not even making cake-which can be difficult.
Now through December 20 you can save $150 on the Cannon EOS Rebel T5i. Just visit Best Buy for all the details. You could also actually ‘visit’ Best Buy, like in person and touch the camera for yourself. Either way you’re bound to dig the camera and put it on your list. It is #HintingSeason you know and it is OK to gift yourself something or be more forthright and tell them what to get for you.
If Cannon isn’t your scene that’s OK because Best Buy has everything, literally everything for digital cameras you need or want. Every brand, every size and multitudes of colors over at Best Buy too.
Remember, the twitter party, #CannonatBestBuy on 12/18, 8PM ET and the $150 savings on the Cannon Rebel T5i until 12/20 at Best Buy. Now go forth and practice, take the camera out of automatic if you want, leave it there, but shoot with abandon.
