Pacific Rim Blu ray giveaway-great popcorn flick

Sometimes movie reviews get in the way of a movie being good.  That was almost the case for Pacific Rim, which came out this summer.  We loved the movie when it came out and it’s so much better than you might have heard.  It’s a big, loud, fun, ride with monsters, robots and the detail that you’ve come to enjoy (and expect) from a Gulliermo del Toro movie.  You can win this Pacific Rim Blu ray giveaway for one of the best movies of the summer.

To help promote the Blu ray release of Pacific Rim they created that app.  From the app you can control various GIFs to control the Kaiju monsters and Jaegers that were helmed by the humans.  You can also take a quiz on your knowledge of the film or play around with some of the sound effects.

While Pacific Rim isn’t child friendly per se, it is OK for some kids who are 9 and up.  It’s rated PG-13 for monster violence and realistic scenes of destruction.  If your child was OK with Man of Steel, they’ll be OK for Pacific Rim too.  The winner must reside in the U.S or Canada.  Each household is only eligible to win 1 Pacific Rim Blu-Ray via blog reviews and giveaways.
