To celebrate the 20th (yes, the 20th!) anniversary of The Sandlot, the film is being shown at Coolray Field on September 21 at 7:30. It’s incredible to think that The Sandlot has been out for 20 years. That movie was represented a generation of children who grew up watching it first in the theaters and then VHS. The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Blu-Ray™ + DVD combo is available now; we’re giving away that-plus a family-4 pack to see the film at Coolray Field on 9/21.
The director and narrator of The Sandlot, David Mickey Evans, will also be there to speak to the audience, take questions after the film is shown, sign autographs and take pictures. To make things ever more family friendly there will be some kid’s inflatables for young ones to bounce off energy, concessions and other activities prior to and during the film.
Tickets for adults and children are $7, and can be purchased in person at the Coolray Field Box Office, by calling 678-277-0340 or by visiting gwinnettbraves.com/sandlot.
Will you see the movie so that you can watch it in a baseball field, because you grew up with it or to share it with your children? Regardless, it’ll be a fun time for the entire family.
The giveaway is for a family-four pack of tickets to see The Sandlot at Coolray Field on September 21 at 7:30. The gates open at 6:30. The winner will also receive a copy of The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Blu-Ray™ + DVD combo.
