Sometimes you get in a rut of what to shop for, it could be gifts or things that you need for the house. Is it a lack of inspiration, boring gifts or you simply need to take a peek at what other people are doing? The Shop Your Way Personal Shopper Program can act as a short cut in those instances. It’s like Pinterest for gifts that have been rated and recommended by real people.
When you participate in the Shop Your Way Personal Shopper Program you’ll be looking through merchandise at Kmart, Sears, Land’sEnd, Sears Outlet, Sears Home Services or Sears Auto. This means that all of the brand names that you know and trust, Craftsman Tools, Levi’s, Lee, DieHard, Whirlpool, Frigidaire and more will all be there. As a DIY dad I know that area quite well and, as a dad, I know toys. I know that you need certain toys for select ages and some you won’t need for a long time.
That is the other benefit of being in the Shop You Way Personal Shopper Program, you’ll interact with real users of the products in an area that is solely dedicated to shopping. There are no cat videos, twerking or distracting comments from your friends, it’s just shopping.
My #PersonalShopper page is up and I’m adding to it most days. There are some toys that young boys must have, books I dig and household items that you don’t know that you need. You can also sign up for Shop Your Way at that page.
I’ve found more than a handful of truly unique products I didn’t know existed just by browsing like minded pages. There was a hand held rake that makes you look like Edward Scissorhands, but is something that everyone who has ever raked leaves has wanted. I also found a long shaft with a magnet on the end of it. How many of us have taped a magnet to the end of a long screwdriver to get that pesky screw that fell?
- Being in the Shop Your Way Program is free
- You get 10 points back on every $1.00 spent. Those points can be redeemed for cash or used to discount merchandise you’re buying.
Have you tried the Shop Your Way program? What did you think of it?
I’m a Shop Your Way blogger, all thoughts are my own.
This sounds like a great program, thank you for sharing.
