What are you doing Thursday, June 6 at 1:00 ET? It would be super if you could steal one hour from your day to join the Father’s Day #ThisIsSuper #ManOfSteel twitter party with Sears. Puns aside, and as a dad, Father’s Day IS just around the corner and we do like to receive gifts, contrary to what we may say.
It could be a gift that we need or one that we want. For us it’ll be one that we need, a bathing suit from Land’s End, and one that we want, a subscription to a
comic book.
Since I was a kid comics have always been something that I’ve enjoyed. I saw the original Superman in theaters with my dad, as well as the sequel after that. They lost me with 3 and 4 ventured toward parody.
Thankfully Father’s Day and #ManOfSteel happen in about the same time frame. The franchise needs a reboot and every trailer I’ve seen for it gives me chills.
So, let’s talk Father’s Day at the #ThisIsSuper Sears twitter party on June 6, 1:00 ET. We’ll be giving away $200 in gift cards to Sears, which will make anyone feel super.
- Follow the host @Sears account and co-host @SearsDeals and @SearsLatino accounts.
- Retweet one of the promotional tweets announcing the party. These normally contain “RT to RSVP” in them.
Join us 6/6 at 12pm CT for our Father’s Day #ThisIsSuper #MANOFSTEEL Twitter chat! $200 in prizes, RT to RSVP: bit.ly/18E0Kyg
— Sears (@Sears) June 3, 2013
- Participate in the conversation when it occurs Thursday, June 6th at 12pm CT, by answering questions and chatting to others under the #ThisIsSuper hashtag. Make sure you use #ThisIsSuper, or we won’t be able to see your replies!
The winners will be selected as the party goes on, but if any of the above criteria are missing you will be unable to claim your prize. If you are announced a winner, simply reply that you accept the prize and a Sears Holding rep will be in contact with you via DM for the next steps.
That is so stinking easy. We’ll be talking #ManOf Steel, Father’s Day and giving away $200 to Sears. Plus, entry is super easy. See you Thursday, June 6 at 1:00 ET.
As a co-host for the twitter party we are compensated. That in no way diminishes our enthusiasm for Father’s Day or Man of Steel, both of which we’re really pumped for. All thoughts are our own.
