A couple of months ago we took a look at Iron Man Armored Adventure. Now we’re taking a look at volume 3 from season 2 and it’s as good as volume 1. The animation is crisp, has lots of fast action and perfect for the entire family. Simply Google the title and you’ll find more than a couple of 5 year old boys singing the theme song.
In volume 3 Tony Stark takes on a nice variety of villains including Magneto and his future self from the year 2099. This is a well written animated show that is entertaining for adults and children. It is just a bit young for our 3YO, but when he turns 4 I’m certain that he’ll be all about Iron Man Armored Adventures.
My one complaint about the DVD is that it only has six episodes. Similar to the first DVD we reviewed the show is awesome, but the DVD is so short and has nothing in the way of extras. It’s primarily a kid’s show, I get that. However, I know that DVD’s have the capacity to have much more data than a meager six episodes on it!
When you break out the cost per episode it’s about 2.25. That cost compared to a streaming purchase on Netflix is about the same, so I shouldn’t complain too much. I’m just used to a DVD being a better value for your money.
Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2, Volume 3 is great, but you just know that volume 4 will have six episodes on it as well. This DVD is a great purchase if you’re a die-hard Iron Man Armored Adventures fan and just can’t wait. Otherwise you may want to wait for the entire second season to be released in one package.
We were provided with a complimentary copy of Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2, Volume 3 to review.
My ‘Lil Man loves Iron Man. This may be a reward for good behavior, chores, or something. Funny, my 7YO girl will watch too, so it may just be a whole family thing for us. Thanks for the review,
Jason
